Identify the hazards associated with falls and risks, as well as implement effective Control Measures.

Participants will have a clear understanding of their rights and obligations under the Prevention Falls Regulations, and study the safe use of ladders, scaffolds and EWP's and various types of harnesses and restraint systems.

Participants who successfully complete this course, will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainmnet for the above unit of competency.

Develop an awareness of OHS/WHS legislative requirements, the basic principles of risk identification and control management and workplace communication and incident reporting processes.

Participants will be issued the Construction Induction Card by WorkSafe Victoria, which entitles the holder to building and construction sites throughout Australia.
